Having the opportunity to meet with others who are going through a similar experience to you, can be invaluable in helping to understand the brain injury journey as a carer or a brain injured person. It also helps avoid isolation and helps to build new friendships and interests.

Therefore we are keen to develop this as one of our first services - our Services For All - Headway (SFA) clubs. These will be very much led by our users, who will choose the types of activities etc they want across the year. We will be developing the groups to include carer support, speakers, wellbeing and other activities.

Membership is FREE, but there may be costs for some of the activities chosen where they we have to pay for external providers.

The club is aimed at both carers, families and brain injured people. They will be facilitated by Headway, but any brain injured people attending by themselves will need to be able to manage independently or attend with a family or paid carer if they need support.

The clubs will run Monthly to start with and then there may be 'one off' events, speakers etc.
All new monthly Club Timetables will be posted on this website, as well as on our Facebook page. There will also be a 'Whatsapp' group set up for reminders.
